Apple's new iOS 12 puts focus on speed and AR, data privacy and controlling screen time

(Telecompaper) Apple has unveiled its latest operating system, the iOS 12, with attention put on speed and responsiveness, with new advanced AR algorithms and Siri Shortcuts. Apple also highlighted data privacy with new anti-tracking features, and put in new ways people can control how much time they spend on their devices, apps or websites. The new operating systems is already available to Apple Developer Program members and a public beta program will be available to iOS users later this month. It will be released this fall as a free software update for iPhone 5s and later, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation, iPad 6th generation, iPad mini 2 and later and iPod touch 6th generation.
