The high-stakes bid to build a massive casino project in Brisbane has intensified, with the rival consortiums unveiling their design plans CHINESE tourism heavyweights China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Municipal Tourism have thrown their support behind James Packer's Brisbane casino bid, with suggestions new direct flights to Queensland are on the cards. Mr Packer's Crown/Greenland is locked in a battle with Echo Entertainment's Destination Brisbane Consortium to win the rights to build a new integrated resort.
