000 ABPZ20 KNHC 181125 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Thu Jul 18 2024 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Western East Pacific (EP92): A broad area of low pressure located more than one thousand miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms well removed from its center. Environmental conditions are becoming less conducive, with stronger upper-level winds and cooler waters, and further development of this system is unlikely. The low is forecast to move generally west-northwestward at about 10 mph across the western part of the basin. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...low...10 percent. South of Southern Mexico: An area of low pressure could form by this weekend a few hundred miles south of the coast of southern Mexico.
