We are looking for a Management System Support E3 to join our Ajilon Technology Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 110 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed For the Quality Management System Evaluating management processes and drafting procedures. Assessing the existing processes for consistency with the standards and identification of required improvements. Maintaining ESA QMS database and documentation system. Organising training and awareness activities for quality related topics. Preparing and conducting customer satisfaction surveys. Participating to quality audits. Preparing reports including and lessons learned recording. For Evaluation Planning and implementation of evaluation activities, which includes preparing and conducting surveys and interviews. Preparing and conducting benchmarks of business processes . Creating and maintaining databases for benchmarks on selected topics and disciplines. Determining the organisations requirements for documented processes, and the levels of detail necessary for implementation in compliance with Agencywide processes and applicable international standards. Defining, documenting, deploying and supporting the organisations processes, including mappingmodelling and describing them in a way that can be useful for understanding how the organisation operates, and can be applied as guidelines for the performance of daytoday work. Assessing the organisations existing processes for their efficiency, coherency within themselves and between different domains, analysing gaps, and developing improved processes. The scope of activities include the review and harmonisation of existing practices, documentation, workflows, optimisation of IT tools used supporting the processes, andor introduction of new tools as appropriate. The responsibilities are discharged in close collaboration with the performers of the business functions by means of workshops, interviews and brainstorming sessions. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Master deghree in industrial engineering, in economics andor business administration. Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional work experience, preferably in the space domain knowledge of engineering concepts is an advantage. Advanced knowledge of the ISO9000 family of standards. Experience in implementing and operating ISO 9001, including quality auditing, monitoring the performance of quality management systems would be a strong asset. Solid experience in the analysis of business processes and the drafting of procedures and questionnaires Relevant experience in business analysis methods and tools. Good interpersonal skills with a strong teamworking and problemsolving attitude Experience in continuous improvement activities and certification on Lean and Six Sigma approaches certification would be an asset. Experience in evaluation and benchmarking would be an asset. About ESAESTEC The European Space Agency ESA has sites in several European countries. The European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC is the largest site and the technical heart of ESA. This nursery of European space activities is located in Noordwijk, Netherlands. At ESTEC, about 2500 engineers, technicians and scientists work handson with mission design, spacecraft and space technology. Almost all ESA projects except launchers are managed from ESTEC. In Noordwijk, people work on science missions, manned space missions, Earth observation, telecommunications and navigation satellites. ESTEC provides extensive testing facilities to verify the proper operation of spacecraft, such as the Large Space Simulator LSS, acoustic and electromagnetic testing bays, multiaxis vibration tables and the ESA Propulsion Laboratory EPL.
