We are looking to further enhance our team by adding an experienced team of Mechanical and Electrical workshop technicians You will be based at our clients premises in Noordwijk, Netherlands. In this large European Agency you will find an excellent and modern working environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities. The team will be required to operate a small mechanical and electrical workshop to support the maintenance and operation of the Test Centre and the laboratories that are on the ESTEC site. Your Tasks Include Overview Planning of all the activities Interface with the customers Realisation of products Administration and documentation of the workshop tasks Organisation of repair and maintenance Task 1 Product manufacturing Discussion with workshop Customer to agree on manufacturing Provide manufacturing advise Minor works may require handsketches to be drafted by the service contractor in agreement with the Customer request Registration of request for work Preparation of proposal effort estimate and material need for each fulfilled request larger than 1 hour Realisation of work Inspection, documentation redaction ifwhen applicable Request Customer satisfaction for each fulfilled request larger than 1 hour Task 2 Maintenance, Planning, Administration, Procurement Maintain overall planning of workshop for all activities work requests, maintenance, repair Maintain machine elog book Liaise with ESA suppliers in charge of the machines maintenance to schedule it and follow it up to meet machine maintenance plan Liaise with ESA supplier in charge of the electrical inspection to schedule it and follow it up to meet inspection plan. In case of machine failure, inform ESA, contact supplier to get an offer and schedule repair. Keep machine maintenance and inspection plans uptodate. Manage stock of spare parts and consumable including the requesting of offer for stock replacement. This requires maintaining a list of spare parts and consumable of the workshop Perform workshop physical inventory Provide monthly report Provide access to ESA to tools put in place for planning, task followup, elog book, or adopt ESA tool if available and suitable. Provide once a year suggestion for machine upgrade or replacement Provide once a year suggestion for maintenance optimisation Task 3 Urgent procurement Although most of the procurement will be carried out by the Client directly, some urgent repair work or urgent consumable order may be necessary. Your Profile Applicants should have General Mechanical manufacturing experience including precision manufacturing with different grade of Aluminium alloys, Stainless Steel alloys, Carbon Steel, Titanium alloys, various polymeric materials, ceramic material, etc. using conventional machines Experience with 5axis milling CNC programming and machining Experience with CNC Lathe programming and machining Experience with CNC bending machine programming and manufacturing Experience in several welding methods of Aluminium, Stainless steel, Steel, Titanium, plastics and Copper certifications are an asset. Typically used welding methods are Autogen OXYACETYLEANE, TIG GTHW, Microplasma, Backing Gas, STUD welding, SPOT Welding, ThinWalled Welding, SMAW Shielded Metal ARC Welding and Cryogenic welding for Vacuum Applications Experience with brazing of various materials certifications are an asset Experience in gluing methods for metal and polymeric Experience in grinding methods for various materials Experience with manufacturing and assembling of pressure components certifications are an asset Experience in punching machining Experience in cutting machining Experience in high speed and standard sawing for different materials Experience with metal ropes manufacturing and assembling Experience with MLI manufacturing and assembling Experience with 3D printing of polymeric materials Qualified for overhead crane operation Experience in working following applicable Dutch Safety regulations Experience in working in laboratory and cleanroom environment Knowledge of Catia v5 part and assembly design modules Knowledge of Catia v5 5axes CNC programming and simulation modules Experience on Highreliability soldering for surfacemount and mixed technology ECSSQST7038C Experience on Manual soldering of highreliability electrical connections ECSSQST7008C certifications are an assets Experience on Crimping of highreliability electrical connections ECSSQST7026C Rev.1 Knowledge on Preparation, assembly and mounting of RF coaxial cables ECSSQST7018C Knowledge of electrical standards NPR5310, NENENIEC 60204, NEN 3140 mandatory Knowledge of electrical standards NENEN 50110, NEN1010, NENENISO 13850 would be beneficial Holding a Dutch InstallationWork responsible license is an asset Holding a valid NEN3140 inspection license is an asset The working language is English. Fluency in this language is required.
