NEMA has published NEMA CG 1-2013 Manufactured Graphite/Carbon Electrodes, a standard that adopts the requirements of two international standards—IEC 60529 and IEC/TR 62157—concerning dimensions and designations of graphite and carbon electrodes used in arc furnace applications. All requirements in CG 1-1999 were replaced with requirements from IEC 60529 and IEC/TR 62157.
