PharMerica's drug costs under Cardinal will be greater than its costs were under its previous wholesale pharmaceuticals supplier, AmerisourceBergin. Leaders at PharMerica Corp. say a new wholesale drug distribution agreement it signed a few months ago with Cardinal Health Inc. likely will eat into its margins.
