(Telecompaper) Nokia said it faced a challenging first quarter and reiterated its guidance for lower earnings in 2018 as it puts more money into testing 5G services. For Q1, net sales fell 9 percent from the year before to EUR 4.9 billion, with sales declining 12 percent at Networks but rising 48 percent at Nokia Technologies, the company's licensing business. On a constant currency basis, net sales were flat, but Nokia said it sees the market improving in H2, thanks to a faster start to 5G.
