The tide is finally coming in for Brunswick, the leading maker of recreational powerboats and marine engines in the U.S., whose brands include Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Bayliner, and Mercury. The company posted a 13% rise in revenue and beat earnings expectations in the third quarter and is poised to benefit as the economy strengthens, consumer confidence gains, and new-boat sales continue to rise from depths hit in 2010.
