Rackspace Hosting is expanding its database portfolio expertise to include Elasticsearch, an open source, full-text search engine, that will now work with the company's managed database platform ObjectRocket. The addition of Elasticsearch will allow Rackspace customers to search across massive amounts of data and extract key information in real-time, said Kenny Gorman , chief technologist, data at Rackspace in a news release.
