Specific Tasks Support to the SFR phase AB1 and breadboard activities with focus robotic arm Support to ongoing technology development activities related to Robotic Exploration, with particular focus on robotic arm and manipulation applications. Support the development of HRAF and ongoing pilot activity. Support the development of the spaceship ECSAT with a focus on HRAF and MSRF Mars Sample Return Facility robotic technologies. Requirements University PhD or Masters degree in computer science or robotics Matlab, Simulink ROS ROS 2 C Python Experience hardware and software with Kuka arm, Force Dimension Sigma 7 Haptic interface or equivalent. Experience with autonomous vision based pick and place. Experience with teleoperation. Extensive experience of Earth Analogue activities, particularly humanrobotic surface operations, and planningexecution of science operations. An indepth knowledge of current International Space Agency human exploration scenarios Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and stringent schedule. Experience of working at InterAgency level e.g. NASA, CSA, JAXA, Roscosmos. A working knowledge of space systems including PA and Safety Engineering for human spaceflight. Proficient in the English language spoken and written. Deadline 0608
