We are currently looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager SRM to support our customer in Germany. Supplier Relationship Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will have the following responsibilities Focal point of contact for the supplier in the purchasing phase of given equipments and ensure one voice to supplier Perform the followup of the supplier from kickoff to delivery particularly o OQ OT OC delivery of equipments and related documentation services o Chair progress meetings design reviews production reviews including quality gates by delegation from PA Manager o Lead deviation, waiver, nonconformance process, change processes etc. Functional management of the resident SRM, located at the supplier site Agree rationalisation of project set up at the supplier considering a consolidation of the equipment project teams and corresponding review cycles, and implementation of the related contract change Drive improvements at the supplier, ensure proper resource plan is set up and implemented by the supplier Acquire an indepth knowledge of the equipment supplier leading to an effective control of the supplier Evaluate contract change notice and negotiate them on behalf of projects Coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved in the supplier management procurement, technical, quality EEE parts material processes, commercial contract, export control Identify in close liaison with the project team and the supplier the risks covering technical, schedule and commercial aspects, ensure implementation of mitigation actions by the supplier and ensure overall mitigation of risks related to supplier Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in Aerospace Mechanical Optical Engineering or similar Several years of experience in supply management or technical procurement Experience in optical products and in ESA projects would be an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory German would be an asset This job is located near Munich.
