The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) this week announced awards to 10 project teams to deploy 55 low and no emission fuel cell, battery electric and electric hybrid buses in neighborhoods from Stockton, California to Canto, Ohio. 38 of the 55 will be either electric or fuel cell powered and produce zero tailpipe emissions

A total of 125 convicts were cleared in 2014, a 37% jump from the previous two years that had 91 reversals each, according to a study from the National Registry of Exonerations. Texas finished first with 39, followed by New York with 17, which included 10 murder convictions overturned by the office of Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson.
