A vacancy has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Earth Observation and Science ENS UK for a Senior EMC Systems Architect. This role is to be based in Stevenage. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Be overall responsible for the EMC design of the Spacecraft. Ensure that all relevant system requirements are captured while maximising the use of the industrial file on the project. Timely organisation and preparation of key reviews. Oversee the technical management of Electrical equipment subcontracts through the appointed subsystem architects to ensure on time on cost on quality delivery to the project wrt EMC system needs. Ensure that verification planning and test requirements adequately capture system design requirements. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Extensive experience of Spacecraft System level EMC design and test in a Prime Contractor organisation. Demonstrate a firm understanding of Spacecraft Electrical Architectures. Demonstrate good time management and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects. Experience of direct liaison, including presentations, with both Customers and suppliers. Familiarity with Nonconformance Reporting systems, RFDs RFWs. Ability to identify and mitigate risks. Preassembled with built-in, power-off activated electromagnetic brakes, 1.8° and 0.9° PKP Series includes configurations featuring bipolar and unipolar windings and 1.38, 1.65, and 2.22 in. frame sizes. When power is accidentally cut off, electromagnetic brake holds load in position to prevent movement. At standstill, motor can be held by electromagnetic brake that can also be used to suppress heat generated from motor by switching off motor current and using brake as holding function.

This option is highly automated and allows tests to be completed both quickly and efficiently, and each isotropic antenna provided with this system is individually calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy.Firmware version 1.56 or later is requires for the MS2711E/12E/13E and MT8212E/13E. For the MS2720T, firmware version 1.12 or later is required.
