New Scientist: Ocean acidification is set to cost us $1 trillion by 2100 as it eats away at our tropical coral reefs. Georgia Gulf plant reports internal hydrochloric acid leak

There was a hydrochloric acid leak reported within the Georgia Gulf facility in Lake Charles on Friday. According to Dick Gremillion, Director of the Calcasieu Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, the incident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. and was contained within the facility.
