This is a slow and steady stock which has beaten the market over the past year but doesn't have great long-term earnings growth projections. I'm not buying any more shares of the name right now and may actually close the position in May. The last time analyzed Abbott Labs , I stated, "After doing this analysis I will hold off on buying anymore shares in the name after this week but when February rolls around for my quarterly portfolio change-out the stock my no longer be present in the portfolio."
