NIST Researchers accelerate antimicrobial activity screening.
2016-03-21 13:31:07| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Posted in AMB Express, "Automation of Antimicrobial Activity Screening" by researchers from NIST show that automated techniques commonly used to screen new drugs for mammalian cell toxicity could also accelerate antimicrobial discovery. NIST researcher Samuel Forry and his team adapted high-throughput screening robot for antimicrobial testing, and results were indistinguishable from those obtained by doing experiments by hand and took 1/3 as much time.
