Anevia has announced that Canal+ used ViaMotion by Anevia for the development of OTT services for its Cube S decoder. The decoder allows customers to enjoy their subscription at home or away, via a WiFi connection.

Eutelsat takes new CEO from Canal Plus

(Telecompaper) Eutelsat has announced the resignation of CEO Michel de Rosen from March, with Rodolphe Belmer elected to succeed from the same date. De Rosen will remain as non-executive chairman of the board of directors until the end of his current mandate in November 2016, at which point his mandate will be submitted to the annual shareholders meeting for renewal. In order to ensure a smooth transition, Belmer will join Eutelsat on 1 December as deputy CEO alongside Michel Azibert, the company's deputy CEO and chief commercial and development officer. He will be proposed as a member of Eutelsat's board at the company's AGM. Belmer comes from Groupe Canal+, where he is CEO.
