Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. recently announced that it has enhanced its E/H series of precision MIL-PRF-55342-qualified thin film surface-mount resistor chips to offer a “T” level failure rate for critical space applications.

Suited for critical space applications, E/H Series is qualified to TCR characteristics E, H, K, L, and M in 12 case sizes. Surface-mount resistor chips feature electroplated nickel barrier layer for operating conditions to +150°C, TAMELOX resistive element, and high-purity alumina substrate for power ratings to 1,000 mW. MIL-PRF-55342-qualified devices offer absolute TCR down to ±25 ppm/°C and wide resistance range from 10 Ω to 6.19 MΩ, depending on case size and TCR characteristics.
