Train rips off truck bed in collision

Police say a white Chevy pickup crossed the tracks just as a Union Pacific train was pulling a 107 car load across the tracks at the intersection of S.W. 44th and U.S. 181 around 8: 25 a.m. That's when reports say the train hit the truck just behind the passenger compartment, causing the truck to spin into a ditch. This intersection is controlled by signs both westbound and eastbound.
