Funeral set for MTA cop who died after bridge crash

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says a funeral will be held next week for a bridges and tunnels officer who died from injuries suffered more than a year ago on a New York bridge. The MTA says that Officer Thomas Choi will receive a full line-of-duty funeral next Friday.

An NYPD officer turned himself in after recognizing himself in a surveillance video, released by the NYPD after he allegedly attacked a female subway conductor. The unnamed officer "allegedly bear-hugged the female Metropolitan Transportation Authority worker, and then choked her, after she tried to grab his cellphone," reported CBS New York.
