SW 45th Avenue Culvert Replacement Update: Road closure extended

Environmental Services is constructing a project to replace an aging culvert on Fanno Creek at SW 45th Avenue. The new larger culvert will improve stream flow and allow fish to pass through. Two green street planters will also be constructed along SW 45th to capture and filter stormwater runoff before it flows into Fanno Creek. The restoration work and fish passage will continue Environmental Services efforts to improve conditions in Fanno Creek.

Prince Road Update

The Prince Road project in Tucson is now in its final phase. To help get there, ADOT recently set 22-120 foot long girders over the Union Pacific Railroad.
