February Fire Report: Fortifying the Front Lines Report is Coming

Compost 2026 continued its educational program with more studies that hammered home the benefits of organic waste diversion and what is working in California. Dr. Brendan Harrison, postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, took the stage to present a national-scale model showing that diverting organic materials from landfills could significantly reduce methane emissions while delivering agricultural benefits in the United States.
