2pm TODAY, Task Force briefs the news media on recommended rules for taxis and transportation network companies, including Uber and Lyft

At 2 p.m. today, two members of the Private for-Hire Innovation Task Force will brief the news media on recommendations the group will present to the Portland City Council on Thursday. Mike Greenfield, chair of the Task Force, and Joan Plank, a retired Oregon Department of Transportation executive who serves on the Task Force, will provide an overview of the recommendations and will be available to answer questions from reporters.
