S. Joe Bhatia, president and CEO of ANSI, met with top officials from Chinese entities in Beijing for discussions and trade-related activities aimed at fostering U.S-China cooperation regarding standardization and conformity assessment. Held June 7–11, meetings highlighted developments specifically related to standardization reform process underway in China. ANSI leadership meets frequently with Chinese officials to maintain relationships that make member initiatives possible.
