ASABE to adopt guidance positioning system testing document.

ASABE has initiated a project to nationally adopt ISO 12188-2:2012, Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry — Test procedures for positioning and guidance systems in agriculture — Part 2: Testing of satellite-based auto-guidance systems during straight and level travel. Adoption of the published ISO standard will further harmonize national and international standardization, a goal that facilitates manufacturing, safety advancements, and product marketing worldwide.
