Alcatel Seeks $2.7 Billion After Stock Doubles Under Combes

Alcatel-Lucent SA is seeking $2.7 billion via a combination of new shares and debt, taking advantage of a stock that has more than doubled since Michel Combes took over as chief executive officer to finance the network-equipment maker's overhaul.
