American apparel and footwear industry hails Ports Act

The American Apparel and Footwear Association , which represents apparel and footwear brands has welcomed the introduction of a new bill by the US Senate aimed to prevent future port disruptions less than two weeks after West Coast ports management and labour reached a final agreement. The ports crisis had hit the apparel and footwear brands badly.
