Made of polyether-polyurethane with stainless steel wire spiral, FoodFlex AS has temperature resistance of -40 to +100°C and is designed for suction and discharge of abrasive and granular materials commonly found in food and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Translucent ducting is resistant to chemical hydrolysis and wide range of food-specific microbes. Non-toxic and food safe according to US FDA-regulation 21 CFR 177.2600, FoodFlex AS is permanently anti-static with R ≤109 Ω.
