BlackBerry Ltd. narrowed its net loss to US$148 million in its third quarter and produced a small, unexpected adjusted profit, but the company is still struggling to sway customer sentiment on its smartphones. The net loss was equivalent to 28 cents per share, compared with a loss of US$4.4 billion or US$8.39 per share in the same period a year ago.
