Burned bridge fixed, City of New Orleans train back on track

2016-02-24 00:17:37| Railroads - Topix.net

Amtrak says Canadian National Railway has replaced about 800 feet of burned railroad trestle, so its City of New Orleans passenger train is back on the tracks in and out of its namesake city. The passenger rail service provided buses between New Orleans and Jackson, Mississippi, until the bridge over the Bonnet Carre Spillway could be repaired.
