Charter to offer $1.5 billion in unsecured notes

Charter Communications Inc. plans to offer $1.5 billion in senior unsecured notes that will be due in 2023 and 2025. Proceeds from the sale will be used to finance a tender offer for $1 billion in outstanding senior notes due in 2017 and for general corporate purposes, according to a release from the company.
