Climate Advisors to PM Abbott: Cut Australia Emissions 30% by 2025

RTCC: Australia should cut greenhouse gas emissions 30% from 2000 levels by 2025, the governments Climate Change Authority has recommended. By 2030, the country should target a 40-60% cut, according to the advisory bodys final report. These goals broadly match the US and EU targets and are in line with the global goal to limit warming to 2C, the experts said.
