Wind Mobile chairman Anthony Lacavera in December 2009: the federal government approved an investment in Wind by Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris, but has now vetoed a $520-million bid for Allstream, the struggling network division of Manitoba Telecom Services, by Sawiris's Accelero Capital.
