Comcast unveils Infinity Flex streaming TV platform for internet-only subscribers

(Telecompaper) US cable operator Comcast has introduced Xfinity Flex, a new streaming service aimed at its internet-only customers. The service, to launch next week for USD 5 per month, brings together a number of subscription streaming services, free content, and voice control to manage all connected devices in the home, all from one platform. Specifically, Xfinity Flex will come with an internet-connected, 4K HDR streaming TV device, Comcast's voice remote, an integrated guide for accessing popular streaming video and music apps, and Comcast's home Wi-Fi, mobile, security, and automation services.
