The US petrochemical industry is facing a challenge in 2015 and beyond as it deals with the new reality of low oil prices, the strong US dollar and weaker growth in China. The mood at the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers International Petrochemical Conference in San Antonio, Texas, US was relatively optimistic but bullishness was contained as the impact from oil prices was the number one point of discussion.
