Conn's names Thomas Moran new CFO

Furniture and home-appliance retailer Conn's Inc. on Thursday named Thomas Moran as its new finance chief, effective July 27. Mr. Moran previously served as the chief financial officer of West Marine Inc., a retailer of boating supplies and gear. In December, Conn's previous chief financial officer, Brian Taylor, stepped down amid an increase in delinquencies and deteriorating credit scores in the company's credit-financing business.
