Connecticut home sales jump in Jan.

Aided by record warm temperatures and uncertainty about future interest rate increases, January home sales in Connecticut catapulted 19 percent from a year earlier according to the Connecticut Association of Realtors , with the price of the median home sold flat from January 2015. Statewide in January, 1,977 single-family homes sold, compared to 1,659 a year earlier according to the Connecticut Association of Realtors , with the price of the median home sold $232,000.
