Supporting 8Qi 2D barcode scanner which attaches to most smartphones in sled-type configuration, SocketScan SDK v10.1 allows developers to build scanner-enabled application so all limitations of HID mode are removed. Program includes features such as data editing and Softscan, which enables iPhone and Android® built-in cameras to be used as scanner. Scanner offers unlimited character set, end-to-end error checking, multiple cursor fields, and program control for scan data placement.
