Countdown opens a Christchurch Airport supermarket

The supermarket chain, part of Progressive Enterprises and owned by ASX-listed Woolworths, officially opened the store as an anchor tenant of the airport's Spitfire Square retail development on Thursday. National communications & public affairs manager James Walker said while there were no future store announcements imminent, the company was always on the lookout for opportunities.
