Targeting IoT market, ATECC508A provides confidentiality, data integrity, and authentication in systems with MCU or MPUs running encryption/decryption algorithms in software. This CryptoAuthentication™ IC requires one GPIO and integrates ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman) security protocol, ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) sign-verify authentication, and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) capabilities. Features include 256-bit SHA/HMAC hardware engine and 72-bit unique ID.
