2019-01-02 19:27:40| EmergingTextiles.com
The currencies of most emerging economies have eventually resisted any new decline in the past months, after clearly falling against the dollar in the first half. Risks of a new financial crisis have now disappeared with however a few countries still confronted with a sharp fall of their currencies, including Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Turkey. The US dollar could weaken in the new year, whereas the euro is expected slightly rebounding and the pound remaining weak, over the Brexit crisis. Our monthly statistical report covers the past two years and displays a comprehensive view of currency values against the US dollar but also v. the euro, the British pound, the Indian and Pak rupees, and the Chinese renminbi over a 2-year period.
