Windmill Real Time Data enables Excel spreadsheet to collect readings from sensors and instruments over USB, Internet, Ethernet, Modbus, RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, and TCP-IP. Functions are run by entering formulas in cells or lines in macros. Users can control devices and output channels from Excel, as well as control how often it reads and updates data. Running under Windows 8 and earlier versions, software also allows Excel to act when readings cross alarm threshold, to switch equipment on.
