We are currently looking for a Development Engineer Mechanical Design to support our customer in Germany. Development Engineer Mechanical Design Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Development Engineer Mechanical Design, you will have the following responsibilities Mechanical configuration of satellites, payloads and mechanisms Development of mechanical designs for satellites and instrument structures Development of lightweight structure designs in particular highly stable structures employing new design concepts and materials such as fibrereinforced composites and ceramics Development and documentation of mechanical designs under consideration of functional, material and manufacturing requirements and constraints Installation and integration studies on satellite and subsystem levels Generation of product definition drawings and documentation for bids and projects. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering or another relevant discipline Detailed knowledge of MSOffice and Catia V5 Experiences in engineering and composite are required Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
