Motorists hunting for a new car bargain in the coming weeks can obtain the largest discounts by haggling at Volvo, research has revealed. The Swedish badge offers an average discount of 15.4 per cent, according to mystery shoppers from motor magazine What Car? They found the largest saving was had on the Volvo S80, with anonymous shoppers managing to shave A 7,312 off the price, nearly a quarter off its recommended value.
