It employs some 40,000 employees generating revenues of approximately 14 billion per year.A vacancy for an EEE application Engineer mf has arisen within the Airbus Defence and Space in Elancourt.The EEE Local Electronic Support TEOHE2 is the entrypoint into EEE Centre in front of Electronics internal customer Electronics centre Productline Project Design Product Assurance. Accountable in front of internal customer for EEE, PCB, MP related to electronic equipment at Airbus Defense and SpaceElectronics level for selection, demand management OQOTOC and usage support, including technicalquality support to endcustomer as well as to lower tier suppliers for subassembly procurements. Contribute to EEE parts roadmap to prepare EEE future in anticipation collect and harmonize EEE needs from all internal customers, propose technical solution to commoditystrategy group, feedback the finally agreed roadmap to internal customers and ensure application in design team Ensure link between internal customer and EEE centre, locally embedded in the various centres as part of projectproductdesignPA teams.Within the TEOHE2 EEE Centre organization, an Application Engineer supports the design teams on all EEE component related technical topics and selection of components according to design needs.This includes aspects from various fields Electronics design, Thermal, Radiation, Technology, Reliability, Assembly, Total Cost, Obsolescence, Strategy, Process, Quality. The activity is involved throughout the whole project live cycle, i.e. during Innovation and RD, Prospective actions, Proposal Phase, Customer Projects including Production and In Orbit phase, including following tasksInnovation RD Propose innovative ideas,Participate on Radiation Technology RD Research Development activities,Propose new topics to Agencies CNES blue book, ESA TRP, ..Prospective Anticipate the needs from design teams, contribute to the product strategyCollaborate with manufacturers on their road map and new development,Support Projects during any RFI, RFQ and RFPProject Select the right component according to the needs and the project environments through the Part Selection Team PST processSupport the PMP Parts Material Process manager on risk analysisTechnically Lead the Part Selection Team PST process coordination by PMP managerSupport the design team on all technical issuesProvide technical data for the Airbus Component Files ACFSupport standardization through the Airbus Components List ACL processValidate RVT Radiation Verification Testing and SEE Single Event Effects test plans from an application point of viewProduction inorbitSupport investigations on equipment in case of component malfunctionThis activity needs a real involvement in the EEE part selection, the Airbus Component list update, the optimization of part list and the mitigation of risks.This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly on a monthly basis.We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experienceEducated to a Masters degree level in Engineering,More than 10 years of electronics design experience A specific focus and experience in the area of active and passives componentsStrong Interfacing to electronics design community, proactive support for all technical EEE issues,Act in a transnational way, covering interest from all sites,Promote and apply Airbus standards and processesAdvanced level in English and in French expected for the position.Soft Skills High entitlements to quality, schedule and costs, Independent and accurate way of working.Please apply on line for this vacancy using your eRecruiting profile with your CV attached.To apply click here
