European Union's clothing imports have recovered in the first quarter this year, due to the rebound of the euro and the UK pound. Sharp differences can however been observed depending on product categories and origins, with a few countries being able to lower their export prices and others experiencing a double digit growth of unit values in dollar terms therefore depressing sales.
