One of our Space clients is looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to work on Power Systems, this is a permanent role based in the UK. This is working of satellite systems. Key Purpose Project Engineering in the Power Systems Team Key Tasks Management and delivery of satellite power subsystem work packages. Responsibility for the modules throughout design, build, test to integration with the spacecraft and inorbit commissioning. Maintain performance, schedule and budget. Interface with internal and external customers. System subsystem level interfacing and tradeoffs. Circuit level design and simulation where required. Test planning, test and verification of the design. Authoring of technical documents including assembly test procedures, reports and technical descriptions. Product Development. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Qualifications BTEC HND Degree in Electronics or equivalent Experience Demonstrable engineering experience in an analogue electronicspower electronics role, ideally in the Space or Aerospace Industries but other high reliability sectors considered Knowledge Skills Understanding of analogue and power electronics. Excellent interpersonal skills both written and oral communications ability to interface with customers and technical representatives. Good organisation skills and able to prioritise own workload. Flexible adaptable to changing priorities. Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects. Ability to work under pressure. Good attention to detail.
