U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz Announced that Department of Energy (DOE) will participate in developing Plains & Eastern Clean Line Project (Clean Line), which will tap wind generation resources in Oklahoma and Texas panhandle regions to deliver up to 4,000 MW of power via 705 mile direct current transmission line.
