Ericsson, KT to start 5G test bed, strike IoT partnership

(Telecompaper) South Korean operator KT and Ericsson have agreed to strengthen their cooperation in the development of 5G evolution, and to extend this to the Internet of Things (IoT). As an extension to their MoU singed at the Mobile World Congress 2015 for collaboration on the next-generation networks, KT and Ericsson have inked another MoU for collaboration in the area of the IoT. Ericsson and KT have also agreed to explore new B2B and B2G IoT business opportunities.
